@citrustwee theres always a top/sharing thread ask in there

@BraixenIRL yeah i didnt know bout that. someone told me to go look there so i asked em where it is. waitin for an answer now lol

@citrustwee @BraixenIRL *14 year old nutt voice from deep within the bowels of hell* lurk more!!!! noob!!!

@Yolandi idk!!! to me it stands out the most and i loooove the production on it

@citrustwee

roast: you have like, the normie version of obscure music taste
sincere: i have no idea what most of these are πŸ˜…

@citrustwee my roast was me trying to think "what would /mu/ say"

@er1n lol let me go see if they've roasted instead of recommending me stuff

@citrustwee illmatic is on there so i am appeased, now i have to go update mine

@citrustwee you're the casual, nonchalan person on /mu/ who's trying really hard to appear to not try at all

@citrustwee ,,, is exactly what someone who was trying to seem Coolly Uninvested and Nonchalant about it would say c:<

@citrustwee great, great selection here! so happy to see love for Brighten the Corners, always thought that one was underrated
oh, where should I start with Bjork? I feel like that's an artist I've missed out on over the years, been meaning to fix that lately

@pianosmasher honestly not sure! i started out with her 5 most popular songs on spotify and then hopped over to some albums. it depends on what you're looking for. i'd say post & debut are her most accessible albums. post is a good start imo

@citrustwee I'll give those two a shot, then!
the reason I ask is, a composer friend of mine recommended Biophilia to me ages ago, and what I listened to from that album I loved, but I also felt like it was a departure for her? like, it felt like I started listening to Kanye with 808's - to me, that album hits harder knowing where it sits chronologically in his discography, and I didn't want to cheat Biophilia by starting w/ it. I could be totally wrong, tho. I'll listen to Post + Debut and see!

@pianosmasher biophilia is not very accessible and arguably the worst start for bjork, even if it's a pretty good album

@neoncoughh ooooooh, did some reading on Medulla and it looks way interesting! I'll check out both for sure, as that's two votes for Post so far

@citrustwee good list queen... What do you think of Built to Spill?

@citrustwee!!!
Definitely check em out! They're one of the OG indie bands, with great layered guitar playing, lyrics and mixing. Perfect From Now On is a really really wonderful record and you'll definitely like it, being as big of a pavement stan as you are.

@citrustwee just be aware that their second best album, Keep It Like a Secret, isn't on Spotify

@citrustwee also I'm pretty sure you would love Tierra Whack, if you haven't heard her yet

@citrustwee "/mu/? hahahaha never heard of it πŸ˜… "

@yardgnome lmao shut up yard i only went on mu for the first time yesterday

@citrustwee there's BjΓΆrk on there, this is unroastable

@citrustwee *listens to 4:00 AM instead of Plastic love* i love underground music

@toilet AKSJFIJGFKAHJLSDHASGDFJHFLSFASHD LOOOOOOOOL OK BUT THAT WAS 100% ME LIKE 2 OR 3 YEARS AGO

@citrustwee

what /mu/ poisoned 4channer did you steal this chart from

@spookcentral WHY IS EVERYONE SAYING THIS I LITERALLY ONLY WENT ON MU FOR THE FIRST TIME YESTERDAY AAAAAA

@citrustwee

hmm. /mu/ is less a website and more of a musical ideology
